We have chosen just a few of the Kleber summer tyres available based on the most recent independent tests; the three models below are the ones that repeatedly appear in test programs and so best represent Kleber’s current summer range.

Kleber Dynaxer HP4 — a consistently tested all-rounder (model score 72)
Recent tests by AutoBild (2022, 2024), ADAC (2023) and GTÜ (2022) show the Dynaxer HP4 as a balanced, value-oriented summer tyre. Strengths noted across tests include very good aquaplaning resistance and consistently short braking distances in dry (and in some test sizes also in wet) conditions, plus comfortable ride and low rolling noise. ADAC also highlighted good mileage, low abrasion and favourable efficiency, while GTÜ rated it “highly recommended” as a low‑cost option. Weaknesses recorded were a tendency to understeer and somewhat delayed steering response on certain sizes, and moderate wear performance in some tests; ADAC specifically pointed out remaining weaknesses on wet roads. Overall the HP4 is a safe, comfortable choice for everyday driving, particularly where aquaplaning resistance and comfort are priorities.

Kleber Dynaxer HP5 — a newer entry with limited public test data (model score 52)
The Dynaxer HP5 appears as a very recent entry in test lineups (AutoBild 2026). Publicly available test information is limited so far; the sole AutoBild entry is marked with a note related to braking distance but does not include a full published overall rating. Given the limited data, the HP5 should be considered a new addition that may supplement — or possibly replace — older Dynaxer variants in Kleber’s range. We recommend waiting for more comprehensive tests before treating the HP5 as a direct replacement for the HP4 in purchase decisions.

Kleber Dynaxer UHP — efficiency and mileage, but modest wet performance (model score 43)
The Dynaxer UHP has been tested repeatedly by AutoBild (2019–2023). Test reports consistently praise its long mileage, low rolling resistance and quiet rolling behaviour — traits that suit drivers looking for economy and endurance. However, multiple AutoBild tests also point to only moderate grip and limited lateral control on wet surfaces, plus low aquaplaning reserves. In other words, the UHP is a good fit for drivers prioritising fuel efficiency and tyre life, but less suitable if top wet grip and high-speed wet handling are a priority.

How to choose between them
- Choose Dynaxer HP4 if you want a well‑balanced, comfortable summer tyre with strong aquaplaning behaviour and generally good braking performance across sizes.
- Consider Dynaxer HP5 as a candidate for the near future, but look for more complete test data before relying on it as a direct HP4 replacement.
